    Scar Release Therapy

Following cesarean birth or any surgical procedure it is important to manage one’s scar. Scars that are left untreated could form adhesions and attach to organs which could contribute to fascial or muscular restrictions. This could potentially lead to muscular imbalances, chronic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, reduced blood and lymph flow and decreased range of motion. I use various modalities to treat scars, such as, microcurrents, cupping and manual therapy to improve symptoms or reduce chances of future complications due to scaring following cesarean birth or post surgery.
